5 or 6 shrimp are a good serving size.

While vacationing in Sea Island, Georgia with family, we made frequent visits to Saint Simons Seafood.  The variety of fresh fish offered is delightful!  Below you will find an easy recipe for fresh shrimp.

2 lbs fresh shrimp-peeled and deveined
1/4-1/3 cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves-skin removed and chopped
pinch or two of pepper
dash or two of salt
skewers

BBQ Grill-with hot coals

Peel, devein and remove tails of the shrimp. Place in a large non-reactive bowl, add the remaining ingredients and toss well to coat.  Refrigerate for 30 minutes and then skewer for the grill.  Place skewers on the hot grate and grill each side for 2-3 minutes until shrimp are a redish-orange in color.  Enjoy!
