Put the eggs in COOL water.

In a single layer, put eggs in pan, add 1 tsp baking soda and cover with water.  Bring to a rolling boil, turn heat off and top the pan with a lid.  Let the pan sit for 20 minutes with the lid on (don’t peek).  Finally, rinse in cool water, peel and enjoy.

Bring to a rolling boil, shut the burner off and remove from heat.
