IMG_5364Sautéed onions are so easy to make and well received as a side dish.  This side pairs well with my Sautéed Mushrooms recipe.

2 medium onions-chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup dry red wine
1/8 tsp pepper-black or red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp salt

Heat the oil in a medium-high skillet and add all ingredients.  Sauté 15-20 minutes until juices are fully reduced, stirring often.  Serve immediately or cool and refrigerate.

Add all ingredients.
Sauté to desired texture.
